About the Ranch
For more than 30 years we've been building, nurturing, and preserving a way of life—and family legacy—through the western sport of Reining.
Together, from the ground up, my father and I built a championship program, founded on the principles of dedication, respect, and trust. Dedication to our faith and family first, then to the sport of Reining. Respect for each other, the horses in our care, and the greater Reining and equine community. Trust in our partnership, the process, and the hard work it would take to lead us down a path to success.
It would be easy to say the sole motivation for building the program was to win in the arena. But our vision for Hattig Ranch was born out of passion for the cowboy, a way of life that I believe has shaped who we are, and is the legacy I hope to leave for future generations.

My wife, Tania, and I were both raised in Colorado, and along with our two kiddos, call Weld County home. As owners of Hattig Financial Company, also based in Longmont, we serve more than 300 families in Northern Colorado and across the US with comprehensive financial and wealth management services, tailored to the needs of each of our clients. Hattig Financial is the heartbeat of our professional lives, and we feel immensely blessed to help our clients find peace of mind and prosperity through
proper financial planning and wealth preservation.
My experiences as a horseman, husband, father, and business owner continue to prove that each is a lifeline to the other, and bring an abundance of joy across all areas of life.
I'm grateful for each challenge, victory, and opportunity this life presents. God is good through it all.

I’m proud to say at Hattig Ranch we breed, raise, train, and show our now 5th generation of horses. The foundation for trust between horse and rider starts here, and we’ve celebrated much success with our approach and philosophy.
