Why Your Plan Matters

I received an email from one of our vendors last week. At the top was this quote:
“Throughout this journey of life, we meet many people along the way. Each one has a purpose in our life. No one we meet is ever a coincidence.”
She most likely has no idea I read it or that it stayed with me. But it did.
Lately, that’s been on my mind.
Over the past several weeks, my family and I have been walking through the book of John at church. It’s been a great reminder of what really matters—faith, relationships, and the responsibility we carry in how we live and lead.
It’s also a reminder of sacrifice—and the people we make those sacrifices for. The ones you’re working hard for today, saving for, and planning for…spouses, kids, grandkids, or the life you’re building for yourself—even when you can’t yet see what that future looks like.
Tania and Portia had a great trip to Florida over spring break touring a few colleges on Portia's wish list (while she soaked up her youth under the palm trees!) Asher and I had some much-needed guy time. We don’t know what lies ahead for either of them, but we have faith in what we can’t yet see and trust there is purpose in what we’re building for them.
That doesn’t stop at home. It shows up in how we serve you.
We've always believed this work is about more than numbers. It’s about people. It’s about stewardship. It’s about helping you make decisions that align not just with your goals, but with what matters most to you.
We’re continuing to think more intentionally about that—how your investments, your plans, and your future can reflect purpose as well as performance.
No big announcements today. Just a note to say we’re here, we’re thinking about these things, and we’re grateful for the trust you place in us.
As we head into spring, it’s a natural time for reflection and a fresh sense of hope. A little more light, a little more clarity, and maybe even a little more peace of mind.
Have a wonderful Easter. We will be closing early this Friday at 2 pm in celebration of the holiday weekend.
Be well.
